Yuva Bengaluru to participate in state’s development
On completion of our first project – Deena Seva Sangha, we have received and overwhelming response. We are glad that so many people are supporting us morally as well as financially. At the same time we now have to fulfill greater responsibilities that we have committed to.
Little did we know that a bunch of youngsters who would sit in coffee shops and discuss agendas for our projects would one day sit in the ex chief ministers office and chalk out strategies for the development of the state. Yes, that’s what we volunteers have been busy with over the past few days.
Our Founder Kiran Gangadhar happened to meet Mr Kumaraswamy and briefed him about our organization. Soon after, the Yuva Bengaluru team had a quick chat with him and explained the possible strategies that could be implemented in the state.
During one of the public functions Mr Kumaraswamy who is now the Member of Parliment of Bangalore Rural formally announced that Yuva Bengaluru could adopt 10 villages. He also promised to fund all the expenses for this project.
This is another milestone for Yuva Bengaluru . We plan to inspect and conduct a survey in the villages at the earliest, after which we shall frame suitable policies.
The task ahead of us is definitely not greater than the power behind us!
