Our country needs inclusive growth – The underprivileged and deprived sections of our society need to go miles before integrating with the mainstream.

Yuva Bengaluru believes in helping individuals live a life of dignity. To achieve this, our livelihood programmes focuses on generating sustainable livelihoods. This is done through capacity building, fostering community links and promoting small businesses. Yuva puts special focus on entrepreneurial ventures, which are owned by women.

Yuva Bengaluru provides financial assistance as initial investments for small business, equip them with tools such as sewing machine, computers etc. for livelihood thereby allowing them to reach their goal of being self-sustained….to obtain the basic privileges of a residence, education, job and providing for their families.

Yuva through its livelihood programmes promotes microfinance, Self Help Groups, capacity building and small businesses. It also fosters linkages between community collectives and financial institutions. We also focus on improving the literacy, numeracy and critical thinking skills to promote sustainable livelihoods.
